6 Things To Look Like You Have Your SH*T Together

I am the type of person that likes having an organized workspace that is me, in a nutshell. I like surrounding myself with plants (even though I suck at keeping them alive), cats, pretty shiny things, and kickass quotes.

Here are some must have items for your space.

Planner

I love having a planner. Sure, it harkens back to those gross planners I’d get in K-12, but these look nothing like those. These are colorful and help you get stuff done. I personally like to use my planner more like a journal. I like to record what was positive about the day and what goals I accomplished. This way I can flip back and see where I started.

Of course, you can use it like a traditional planner too. You do you, boo.

Mug

My husband and I are certified mug hoarders. He has a Starbucks collection and I just love grabbing cute ones from Ross or Amazon. These have been eyeing me forever in my amazon cart.

Decorative Plants

So I have said it before: I kill plants. Not intentionally. They just sort of have a conspiracy against living in my house. Thankfully, succulents and artificial plants are super hard to kill. Plus, they look beautiful and make me feel like I have my life together.

To do list

I’m not the best at doing things, but I am great at making to do lists. I have apps on my phone, I have them on my fridge, I have them on my mom’s fridge-to do lists are where its at y’all. Want to feel productive? Think about all the things you did today, write them on your list, and see how kick ass you were.

Pens

I do not know what it is about my family, but we are pen connoisseurs. We like pens that glide effortlessly across the page, and none of the cheap stuff. We have been known to discretely steal pens from each other.

Calendar

Stickies and calendars were meant to be. When I was teaching, I’d set out a huge calendar on my desk and use stickies to figure out how to pace my lessons and when I had to be out. It’s no different as a blogger. I just plan my content out on a big calendar like these.

I love these items. What do you keep in your work space? Tell me in the comments below.
