About Yaddy

Yaddy Circa 2017 Hawaii

Hi! I’m Yaddy. I’m that goofy looking woman up there standing on top of a relatively high mountain. I created this blog to have a place to share my sense of humor with teaching, add in some sometimes-useful advice, and focus my sarcasm on something other than my husband so he stays my husband.

I have loved teaching since I was in high school, being that one kid in class who could wrest control from her teachers. (Kind to think of it, most of my teachers probably wanted to strangle me for it.)

My start in teaching was rough, going from assistant teacher to art instructor to substitute to a classroom teacher without a classroom and back to substitute, so you know I have horror stories that will make you feel like your worst day was that much better.

On the technical side of things, I have a BA in English, MS in Curriculum and Instruction, and am working on my EdD in Educational Leadership. And I make lessons for teachers. So I may know a thing or two.

Please enjoy reading about my time as a teacher!
